Drinking water safety is an indispensable part in laying hens breeding, which is related to the quality of eggs, thus related to the sales problem, so farmers should also pay attention to the drinking water problem of laying hens breeding, but according to the habits of chickens, they do not like to drink warm water, in contrast, they do not refuse to drink water with lower temperature. But in autumn and winter, the weather is cold, and the temperature will be relatively low, so we should drink warm water for chickens. Warm water chickens like to drink can also reduce body heat loss and enhance cold resistance, which is beneficial to the health of chickens and egg production. What should we pay attention to when drinking water for laying hens in autumn?
1、 Drinking water should be clean and hygienic. Water polluted by bacteria or pesticides should not be used. Chicken drinking water is a standard, ordinary people can drink water, chicken can also drink.
2、 The water supply temperature should not be lower than 5 ℃, and the best temperature is 15 ℃, which is about 8:00 in the morning, 12:00 at noon and 6:00 in the afternoon. The drinking time of chicken is mostly in the light time.
3、 In general, the daily water requirement and feed water ratio of each chicken are about 200 ml in spring and autumn, and the feed water ratio is 1:18; 270-280 ml in summer, and the feed water ratio is 1:3; 100-110 ml in winter, and the feed water ratio is 1:0.9.
4、 Some breeders step on the first layer of cage or feed trough to wipe the third layer of trough when they are not tall enough, which will cause the slope of the trough to change, making some sections of the trough deep, some sections shallow and even running. Therefore, adjusting the slope of the sink is one of the regular tasks of the breeder.
The double-layer sealing structure is adopted in the layer breeding drinking water system, which is more reliable and can effectively avoid the dripping of water source and the influence on the environment temperature of the henhouse. The valve stem can move up and down in a horizontal range of 360 degrees, which is suitable for the drinking water needs of different feeding stages.
