1. Poultry plague
In recent years, the occurrence and prevalence of plague has become an important factor hindering the rapid development of livestock and poultry breeding industry in China, and livestock and poultry viral disease is one of the important factors restricting the development of livestock and poultry breeding industry, causing huge economic losses to livestock and poultry breeding industry. Common diseases include chicken plague, Newcastle disease, infectious bursitis, infectious bronchitis, infectious laryngotracheitis, etc.
Epidemic prevention method: disinfection and sterilization in empty house period: before the arrival of newborn chickens, do a good job of cleaning and disinfection and sterilization. Cleaning: after all poultry are put on the market, the feces, bedding materials, ceiling dust, etc. shall be cleaned out of the farm, and the movable equipment and appliances shall be moved to the designated place for sun exposure, cleaning and disinfection. Chinese medicine prevention: in chicken feed mixed with a certain amount of Radix Isatidis, wormwood, garlic can prevent plague to a certain extent. Ventilation: keep the air circulation in the chicken pen and henhouse at all times.
2. Colibacillosis
Chicken Colibacillosis is caused by some pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli. It is also a common disease with high mortality and great damage in chicken farmers. Escherichia coli is a kind of conditional pathogenic bacteria, which is closely related to environmental conditions. In autumn, due to the large temperature difference between day and night, high humidity, high incidence of colibacillosis, chicken farmers should pay special attention to the prevention of colibacillosis. The main symptoms of sick ducklings are listlessness, loss of appetite or waste, discharge of pasty gray feces, swelling of eyelids on one or both sides, some of them have neurological symptoms, such as neck twisting, spinning, and some joints will swell and limp.
Epidemic prevention measures:
(1) At present, poultry farms or households in China have realized that "avian colibacillosis is an environmental disease". Therefore, we should provide comfortable and clean breeding environment for free range poultry, keep the poultry house dry and sanitary, improve ventilation, reduce dust, reduce ammonia content, and disinfect the poultry house, playground, appliances and equipment regularly.
(2) Immunization has a certain protective rate for breeding birds and a certain passive protective effect for chicks. The detailed immunization method should be carried out according to the method of vaccine product label calibration. It is emphasized that the goose should be vaccinated with E. coli vaccine 2-4 weeks before laying.
(3) Antibiotics can be used for drug treatment
3. Influenza
Avian influenza epidemic characteristics: avian influenza, also known as true chicken plague or European chicken plague, is an acute and highly lethal infectious disease caused by avian influenza virus. The common diseases are avian influenza, chicken atypical Newcastle disease, infectious bursal disease, bronchitis, larynx and chronic respiratory diseases.
Epidemic prevention measures:
(1) In poultry breeding, the monitoring of poultry diseases should be strengthened. Once the epidemic situation of avian influenza is found, the animal epidemic prevention department should deal with it immediately according to the relevant regulations. All personnel involved in breeding and treatment should be well protected.
(2) Strengthen the monitoring of close contact with poultry personnel. When influenza like symptoms appear in these personnel, epidemiological investigation should be carried out immediately, samples of patients should be collected and sent to the designated laboratory for testing, so as to further identify the pathogen, and corresponding prevention and control measures should be taken.
(3) Contact with human avian influenza patients should wear masks, gloves and isolation clothing. Wash hands after contact.
